SideKick Follow Focus v2

The long awaited Sidekick v2 is here! With the popularity and efficiency brought with a follow focus, Jag35 has decided to release their own version. The Sidekick Follow Focus v2 features an innovative friction based design that replaces the need for expensive gears. The Sidekick is easily adaptable and able to work with any size lens or camera, as well as with the zoom and the gh2, all without the need to purchase different sized zip gear for each lens. The Sidekick only requires one rod to be mounted, freeing your baseplate for use with other accessories.

We’ve designed the Sidekick to be easy to use and install, so that users can switch between cameras in the middle of the job easily and efficiently.  Jag35 has also looked to improve our Sidekick, by replacing the acrylic parts on it with sturdy and lightweight aluminum, making the Sidekick stronger and more durable than ever. We’ve also upgraded the machining to give our Sidekicks a smoother surface and chamfered edges. Making this the sturdiest and most efficient follow focus Jag35 has produced.
